Lough Lively celebrates everything that is unique to Strangford Lough, Lecale and the Ards Peninsula. With over 150 attractions and activities waiting to be discovered, you could visit Castle Espie, Mount Stewart, and Exploris on the Ards Peninsula or cross the Lough to Lecale and see Castle Ward or take a trip on the Downpatrick and County Down Railway. You could also play a few rounds at the Coasts of Down Links Challenge or have a flutter at Downpatrick Racecourse.
The highlights of Lough Lively this year are the Taste of the Peninsula Food Fair, Continental Markets in Conway Square, Newtownards and St Patrick’s Square, Downpatrick and Celebrate Strangford Lough which will be a wonderful opportunity to explore the Narrows and the Lough as they springs alive with activity.
With music, exhibitions, children’s entertainment, water sports, tours and great food you will find something for everyone at this year’s Lough Lively.
